Farewell Family Brunch at Camille’s House
Everyone is invited to the ‘After-Party’ and open house at Camille Barnett and Jesse Cates’ home just outside Santa Fe, off Tano Road. The address is 10 Tequila Sunset, Santa Fe, NM 87506. A buffet-style meal for all ages will be provided.

Big Family Dinner in the Common Room
We will all gather for a meal in the Common Room to share a meal and memories with family. We will enjoy delicious New Mexican cuisine catered by the hotel restaurant. It will be a wonderful time to gather together in fellowship.
Big Group Family Photos with Aly Barnett
The talented professional photographer (and granddaughter of Camille Barnett) Aly Barnett is our official reunion photographer for the 2024 Santa Fe Cates Family Reunion! At 4:30pm on Saturday, we will meet for a group photo with Aly, followed immediately by dinner in the Common Room at 5:30pm.
A location will be announced closer to time, but the picture will likely be staged outside. Remember to wear your reunion shirt!
Aly will be producing a Reunion Memories Book. She will take photos throughout the reunion as well as individual family pictures. To order, you will contact Aly, but details will be provided at the reunion.
Meow Wolf for All Ages
Join us at the Meow Wolf Interactive Art installation in Santa Fe on Saturday morning!
The original permanent Meow Wolf exhibition, House of Eternal Return is a monumental achievement in DIY world creation and collaboration, featuring over 70 rooms made by local and community artists.
Meet at 10:00am at Meow Wolf Tour.

Chimayó Tour with Camille Barnett
The Chimayó Tour will include the historic Santuario de Chimayó, lunch at Rancho de Chimayó, and a visit to the Ortiz Gallery to shop for Native American art, rugs, pottery, and jewelry. White Water Rafting
Join the Askew family for a 1/2 day Rio Grande Racecourse through Los Rios River Runners on Saturday Morning! White water rafting for ages six years and older.
Rafting starts at 9:30am and is located in Taos, about an hour away.

Guided Fly Fishing with Brad Cates
Interested in fly fishing on Saturday, July 20? Brad Cates has arranged for a group of up to 6 people to have a fly fishing excursion at a private ranch, Bar X Ranch, with professional fly fishing guides. You will receive great instruction and fish peaceful lake waters, with no struggling to wade rocky rivers and streams. This will be be flyrod fishing, catch-and-release only.
The cost is from $250 to $285, depending on numbers. No license required, and all equipment is provided (including waders). Non fishing guests are also welcome at $75 per person. Children 8 years and under are free.

Kids Santa Fe Scavenger Hunt
Sarah Zwern is organizing a kids scavenger hunt on Friday at 3pm for kids of all ages (with adult help for youngers). The hunt will be at thehotel and surrounding area - no car necessary!

Third Generation Cousins Luncheon at Amaya
Traditionally known as the “Cousins Lunch,” this meal is a special gathering for just the third generation of the Bobbye T. Cates Family and their spouses. Please be sure to RSVP beforehand. Santa Fe Botanical Garden Tour and Lunch on Museum Hill
Join the group touring the Santa Fe Botanical Garden at 9am, stop at the Museum Hill Cafe for an early lunch at 11am, and then visit one (or two!) of the museums on Museum Hill. The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture (MIAC) and the Museum of International Folk Art come highly recommended.
The Botanical Garden is located on Museum Hill which is an 8 minute drive from Hotel Santa Fe. Van or car transport to / from the hotel to the Botanical Garden is possible.
The entrance fee is $13/adult, $8/youth (4-17).

Bandelier National Monument
Join Sarah Hieb and family for a kid friendly visit to Bandelier National Monument.
Meet at the Pueblo Loop Trailhead by 9:30am, near the Visitors Center.
We will be departing Santa Fe about 8am. The drive is approxiately 50mins.
If you arrive after 9am there is a shuttle service that will take you from the White Rock Visitor Center to the park . Shuttles depart every 30 minutes from The shuttle is mandatory from 9 am to 3 pm daily.
We are planning to hike the 1.4 mile round-trip paved Pueblo Loop Trail with a 2 year old and 5 year old. All ages are welcome. This is not stroller or wheelchair friendly.

Opening Reception in the Meeting Room
We will kick off the reunion with this grand gathering of the Cates! This event will take place in the Common Room at the Hotel Santa Fe. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be included: chips with salsa & guacamole, mediterranean platters, imported and domestic cheeses, and charcuterie. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided. A children’s food menu will be available.
