Come experience the beautiful mountain vistas, rich cultural heritage, southwest cuisine, and inspirational art scene that Santa Fe has to offer! Every member of the family will benefit as we reconnect and gather in fellowship. These four days in this historical city will be a memorable experience - it truly is a place unlike any other.

Shopping
Native American art, pottery, and jewelry are the tip of the iceberg for shopping opportunities in Santa Fe. Explore the Plaza downtown or visit one of the surrounding villages, such as Chimayo, where you can visit a favorite of Camille’s, the Ortiz Gallery). There will be an excursion to Chimayo on Saturday morning. More details on the Event Page.
Museums, Arts, and Culture
Santa Fe boasts a rich variety of state and private museums. Read more at the SantaFe.org museum page. We recommend the Georgia O’Keefe Museum (check ticket availability), Meow Wolf, the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), and the Santa Fe Children’s Museum.
Food & Dining
Check out Santa Fe’s selection of award winning restaurants, local cafes, and coffee shops at SantaFe.org. We have a room block at the Hotel Santa Fe (until May 31), where you can also taste the delicious cuisine of Amaya (pictured above). Private Teepee Dining is available seasonally (Memorial Day - Labor Day) and seats up to 10 guests ($75 Set-up fee; reservations available only within 30 days of arrival).
Outdoor Activities
City tours, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and even rock climbing await for the adventurous spirit. Explore the cave dwellings at Bandelier National Monument (about an hour’s drive away), or hire a local guide for a detailed experience of the Santa Fe area and its history.
The 2024 Cates Family Reunion will be hosted at the Hotel Santa Fe.
